Tara Markov, also known as Terra, is a complicated and tragic figure associated with the Teen Titans. She first appeared in *The New Teen Titans* #26 (December 1982) from DC Comics.
Terra is a young metahuman with the ability to control earth and rock. Initially presented as a naive and eager hero, she sought to join the Teen Titans and use her powers for good.
However, her true allegiance was to Deathstroke the Terminator. She acted as a spy, providing him with information about the Titans' weaknesses and ultimately playing a key role in their downfall during the "Judas Contract" storyline.
